Decrease stress by increasing your carb intake. Carbohydrates increases serotonin, which makes us feel relaxed and happy. But be careful not to overdo it. As foods containing carbohydrates such as hot chips and pastries can cause weight problems. Go for healthier options such as pastas or baked potato.
Don’t let technology rule you. Allow certain times of the day to check social media and emails. Turn off your mobile and spend some time to yourself to feel more in control, confident and relaxed.
Boost immune system. The stress hormone cortisol can really harm your immune system. To avoid falling ill, boost your immune system with vitamin C, zinc and Echinacea. Also try natural stress relievers such as liquorice root and B group vitamins.
